The most important thing you can do when your child comes out to you, is to let them know that you love them. Acknowledge the courage it takes for someone to come out, especially to their parents. Naz and Matt Foundation exists to empower and support LGBTQI+  individuals, their friends and family to work towards resolving challenges linked to sexuality or gender identity, particularly where religion is heavily influencing the situation.

We are all parents of lesbian, gay and bisexual sons and daughters and understand the confusion and questions you may have when when you first found out your child is lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender.

New Road Parents

We are a group of parents and carers in Worcestershire and South Birmingham area, whose children have come out to them as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Non-binary or Gender-fluid. There are other categories too.



We are dedicated to supporting parents and families and their LGBT+ members. We offer support to local parents groups and contacts in their efforts to help parents and families understand, accept and support their lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender members with love and pride.
